Other aspect ratios, quality: auto, transparent backgrounds and image-to-image are all billed from the same three token rates. Reference images count as image-input tokens at the same 25% discount.
Every task is settled on its actual token usage: the estimate shown at submit time is reserved, and any difference is refunded when the task completes. Add ?include=billing to GET /api/v1/tasks/{id} to see the exact token counts and charge for any task.
Existing API keys, model ids and parameters are unchanged. The flat-rate gpt-image-2 model ($0.03 / $0.05 / $0.08 per image at 1K / 2K / 4K) is not affected. You are only charged for tasks that complete; failed tasks are refunded automatically.
