Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and reAPI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the API, you agree to these Terms.

What reAPI is

reAPI is a unified API gateway for AI generation models. We accept requests on a single OpenAI-compatible endpoint, forward them to third-party model providers (the "Upstream Providers"), and return the results. We do not own or operate the underlying models, and the catalog of available models evolves over time.

Accounts and API keys

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for all usage made through your account or your API keys, including charges incurred. If a key is compromised, rotate it from Settings → API Keys immediately.

Credits and billing

Usage is billed in credits, where $1 = 1,000 credits (1 credit = $0.001 USD). The credit cost of each request is shown in the playground and the model documentation pages, and is debited atomically before the request is dispatched to the upstream provider.

• Subscriptions and credit packages are charged through Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
• Refunds for failed requests: if an upstream call fails before completion, the credits are automatically refunded by the system. No action needed.
• Credit expiry: credits do not expire while your account is active.
• Plan changes: you may upgrade or cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. We do not generally refund unused subscription periods, but may do so at our discretion.

Prices and credit costs may change with at least 14 days' notice to existing customers.

Acceptable use

You may not use reAPI to:

• Generate or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
• Generate child sexual abuse material, non-consensual sexual imagery, content that impersonates real people in a deceptive context, or content designed to defame.
• Circumvent the safety filters of Upstream Providers, or obscure your identity to abuse rate limits.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the API in a way that disguises reAPI as your own service without disclosure.
• Use our service to train a substitute API gateway on our request/response schemas.

You are responsible for the content of your prompts and inputs. Upstream Providers also enforce their own usage policies — your request must satisfy both ours and theirs.

Generated content

You retain rights to outputs you generate, subject to the terms of the Upstream Provider that produced them. We do not claim ownership over your outputs. We make no warranty that an output is original, copyright-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Generated assets are stored in our R2 bucket for a limited window (see Privacy Policy). It is your responsibility to download and back up anything you need to keep.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. Upstream Providers go down, change quotas, deprecate models, and rewrite their APIs. When that happens, we will route around them where possible; in some cases requests will fail and the credits will be refunded.

We may suspend or rate-limit accounts that abuse the service, threaten upstream quotas, or violate these Terms.

Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings → Profile. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or where required by law. On termination, unused subscription credits do not transfer.

Disclaimers and liability

reAPI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
